When Queset Brook comes up in April, running fast and brown under the road, Easton has officially changed seasons. Evergreen Landscaping, Inc. changes with it — trading the plow blade for mowers, opening the year with cleanups that pull winter's litter off the lawns and finish with a first cut. Through summer the route keeps a steady rhythm: mow, trim, edge, move on. Then the leaves, then the cold, then the drives that have to stay open once the storms line up again. It is a full circle of work in one town, and the good part is that every piece of it is something you can see from the front step.
