About Whitmore's Yard Care Inc

East Bridgewater lies where the Satucket and Matfield rivers slide together, on flat glacial ground stitched with stone walls, oak and white pine, and the low straight streets of an old mill village. Whitmore's Yard Care Inc. works that ground — lawn maintenance and mowing, lawn fertilization, spring cleanups, mosquito and tick control, deer repellent, tree spraying against moth defoliation, and snow removal once the cold sets in. There is a plain satisfaction in the results: a lawn cut true to the edge of the walk, a yard opened up in April after the winter litter is carried off, a driveway pushed back to blacktop while the streetlights are still burning. Grass that keeps its color through the humid stretch of July, shade trees that hold their leaves when the caterpillars come — that shows from the road, and it lasts. The crew ranges across East Bridgewater and the surrounding towns of Plymouth County.
