Dooryards run nearly to the road in East Bridgewater, where fieldstone walls hold back the pines and the Satucket slips along under low bridges. Hall's Landscaping works those yards the way this town seems to ask to be worked — lawns cut in clean even lanes, the edge drawn tight along the walk, the shape of a property brought back out from under a long month of growth. Winter flips the job upside down: driveways opened before the first commuter headlights, banks pushed well back off the mailbox, a whole street able to leave in the morning without thinking twice about it. It is plain, physical work, and the best part is that it shows — a green stretch of yard in July holding its line all the way to the stone wall, a driveway swept down to black pavement in February with the storm still coming down.
