About Tim Baker & Sons Tree Service

Climb Scargo Hill on a clear morning and both of Dennis's shorelines show themselves — the bay north of 6A, the sound down past Dennisport, and the Bass River winding between them. Tim Baker & Sons Tree Service works that whole stretch of sandy ground, where locusts and pitch pines grow crooked in the wind and cedar hedges crowd the property lines. Trimming keeps limbs off cottage roofs and shingles; pruning gives a wind-bent oak a shape it can actually hold. Removals come down in short pieces on narrow lanes, with the beach plum and the hydrangeas still standing when the truck leaves. Hurricane season is the real test, and once one passes they are on the road clearing driveways so people can get out and see what the water did.
