About Royal Landscaping & Masonry Inc.

On the mid-Cape the light comes twice — once off Cape Cod Bay at sunrise, again off Nantucket Sound at dusk — and it falls on everything Royal Landscaping & Masonry Inc. sets down in Dennis. From South Dennis they build stone walls, patios and walkways, shape landscape designs and plantings, run irrigation lines and outdoor lighting, raise decks, pergolas and retaining walls, and keep lawns mowed, fertilized and aerated so the green holds against sandy soil and salt air. When a nor'easter crosses the Sound and packs the driveways shut, they clear the snow as well, so the morning opens the way a Cape morning should. What stays behind is the good kind of evidence: a wall sitting dead level against the slope, a walkway reading clean under the porch light, a yard that runs unbroken to the edge of the scrub pine.
