About Foley Landscape Services

First light comes to Dennis off the water — pale over Cape Cod Bay on the north side, gold across the Nantucket Sound beaches on the south — and by then the mowers are already moving. Foley Landscape Services keeps lawns on this sandy mid-Cape ground, where the salt wind combs the pitch pine along 6A and grass has to be coaxed as much as cut. There is a real pleasure in the finished pass: the stripe running clean to the hedge line, the edge crisp against a shell driveway, a yard that looks like somebody tends it. And in winter, when a storm comes up the Sound and fills the lanes between Dennis Port and East Dennis, the plow goes out in the dark so the drive is open before anyone needs it.
