Oasis Tree Care

About Oasis Tree Care

Up in the North End the mill blocks give way to leafy side streets, and on a summer evening Sassaquin's water sits dark and still under the pines. Oasis Tree Care tends the maples along those streets and the older shade trees around the edges of Brooklawn Park — pruning out deadwood, trimming clear of porch roofs and gutters, removing what has quietly gone hollow at the base. The three-deckers stand close together here, so limbs come down in measured pieces on rope rather than in one great fall. After a hard blow the work is clearing what the wind stacked on lawns and fences, hauling brush until the strip of grass in front is green again. Doing that well is the pleasure of the trade: someone comes home from Acushnet Avenue and their yard looks like nothing ever happened.
