About Anthony’s Landscaping

Padanaram wakes slowly — the tide slides out of Apponagansett Bay, the masts hold still, and the light comes up over the drawbridge the color of weak tea. Anthony's Landscaping keeps the lawns above that harbor, mowing in long even passes while the salt wind combs the grass one way and then the other. There is real satisfaction in the last stripe laid down, in an edge cut true along a walk, in sweeping the clippings off the pavement before the truck pulls away. Come winter the same roads go dark and hard, and the plow is out ahead of the first commuters, opening driveways down to the blacktop while Dartmouth is still asleep. Snow or June grass, the work makes the same promise: a place looked after.
