About Tommy's Compost Service, LLC

March in the Berkshires is a bluff — mud one morning, eight wet inches the next, and the road up toward Windsor white again by noon. Tommy's Compost Service, LLC plows through that last stubborn stretch of winter: driveways opened, walkways cleared, steps shoveled, salt and sand down where the melt refreezes after dark. Heavy spring snow is the hardest kind to move and the fastest to turn to ice, so timing counts for more than muscle. The satisfaction is the same in March as in January — a drive cut down to the pavement and a doorway a person can actually walk out of. Dalton and the towns nearby in the Berkshires.
