Apple Tree Services

About Apple Tree Services

Three rivers meet in Concord, and the town has always arranged itself around water and woods — the Great Meadows going brown and gold in November, white pines standing over the far shore at Walden. Apple Tree Services works among trees that people are attached to, which changes the job: you prune for the decades ahead, not for this afternoon. Deadwood comes out of a big oak in winter, when the ground is firm and the crown can be read against a bare sky. Removals are taken apart above gardens and stone walls, and the grass is left looking as though no truck was ever parked on it. When a storm crosses the Assabet and puts a limb across a doorway, they get there while it still matters.
