About Lanoue Tree & Landscape Service

In late October the hills above the North River go copper and rust, and Colrain's dirt roads fill with the smell of cut wood and wet leaves — good weather for a saw and a truck. Lanoue Tree & Landscape Service works these Franklin County slopes: taking down the maple leaning too far over a driveway, keeping lawns cut clean on ground that never once agreed to be flat, shaping a yard so it sits right against the ridgeline behind it. Come January the work turns to plowing, headlights swinging up a grade at four in the morning so somebody can be down on Route 112 by six. The reward is plain and physical — a tidy stump, a mown slope holding its line all the way to the treeline, a drive opened wide before the rest of the hill is awake.
