Richard H. Kelly Landscape

About Richard H. Kelly Landscape

In late June, when the harbor fog lifts off Cohasset and the light comes down hard on the granite ledges, the lawns near the town common stand thick and level, cut clean the evening before. Richard H. Kelly Landscape keeps that green going, mowing and tending the yards that run from the salt marshes back into the wooded lots, coaxing an even edge out of ground that has always been half rock. When the first nor'easter turns and the snow blows sideways off the Atlantic, the same hands are out before the streetlights fade, opening driveways and walks while the town is still dark. There is a plain, honest pride in the result: the crisp mown border, the drive cleared ahead of the morning commute, a stone-walled yard that holds its season without complaint.
