About Pica & Moriarty Landscaping, LLC

Where the Chicopee River empties into the Connecticut the water goes wide and quiet, and on a Sunday morning you can hear the rail bridge before you see a train. Pica & Moriarty Landscaping, LLC works the neighborhoods on either side of that junction in every month of the year — mowing, trimming, edging and mulching, spring and fall cleanups, and then plowing, shoveling and salting once the valley freezes. Snow in this river bottom falls heavy and wet and packs down hard, so it gets moved early and moved again. In the green months those same properties get cut on schedule and finished at the edges. It's visible work, and the results stay out in the open where everyone can see them.
