Szot Park empties out early in October, once the light quits by five and the Aldenville sidewalks fill with leaves. Fresh & Clean Cut LLC works right through that turn — leaf removal and fall cleanup, the last mow of the year, then plows, shovels and ice melt for the months that follow. Come spring they open the yards back up: cutting, trimming, edging along the walks, mulch in the beds and weekly rounds all summer. A lawn cut even, with its borders drawn tight, looks like a decision somebody made on purpose. In winter that same decision looks like bare pavement at the bottom of the steps.
