About Fernald Landscaping and construction

Walk into the Russell Mill town forest in late October and the white pines hold the sound down to almost nothing, needles thick and springy underfoot. Fernald Landscaping and construction keeps the lawns just outside that hush — mowing on a schedule the grass can count on, edging the walk lines crisp, hauling off the leaf drop before it mats down and smothers the turf. Chelmsford's ground is sandy and glacial, quick to dry in August and quick to green after a rain, so timing matters more than muscle. The spring cleanup pulls winter litter out of the beds; the fall one puts the whole yard properly to bed. The result is plain and satisfying: a lawn that looks cared for from the road.
