About Gerry Home Improvements

Weather in Charlemont comes down the Deerfield valley with the hills on either side steering it, and by the time the Mohawk Trail is white the driveways off it are already deep. Gerry Home Improvements plows in that country — steep grades, long dirt approaches, the kind of turnaround you learn once and never forget. Snow up here has weight and it keeps arriving, so clearing is rarely one pass; it's back again when the tail of the storm comes over from Berkshire East. Walkways get opened as well, and ice gets handled before the temperature drops and turns everything to glass. Nothing beats a hill-road driveway cut clean and square while it's still coming down.
