About Landscape Creations Masonry

Out along Carver's back roads, where fieldstone walls run off into scrub pine and the cranberry bogs lie low and level behind the houses, a dooryard is mostly stone — and stone is the work here. Landscape Creations Masonry builds retaining walls, bluestone and brick patios, walkways, granite steps and cobblestone, paver driveways, firepits and pool decks, with bobcat work, excavation of tired old walls, and French drains run underground to send the water somewhere kinder. There is a plain satisfaction in a wall that sits true: each course chosen, tapped down, left to hold its line through frost heave and thaw and the sand that drifts in off the barrens. Come winter the work turns commercial — plowing, sanding, snow removal, lots opened and drives cut clean while the bogs lie flat and white under an early sky. From Duxbury and Carver out across the South Shore, it is the kind of work a property keeps.
