Wallhagen Construction Co

About Wallhagen Construction Co

A nor'easter reaches Carlisle quietly — no ocean sound this far inland, just snow filling the hollows along the back roads and burying the dirt lanes first. Wallhagen Construction Co works those hours, three in the morning with the headlights full of white, pushing driveways open one after another. Plowing out here means long approaches, tight turns between wall and tree, and coming back for a second pass once the wind has drifted everything shut again. Walkways get opened too, and the ice that follows a thaw gets treated before anyone has to step on it. The whole reward is a single image: a door opening at six, black pavement clear to the road, and nobody having to think about it at all.
