About Arbortech Inc

A well-kept property pays its people back quietly — in shade that falls where you want it, in the limb that no longer worries you when a nor'easter comes up the bay, in a driveway opened before the coffee is done. Arbortech Inc works the trees of Brewster and the lower Cape, where pitch pine and oak lean inland off the water and the salt wind edits every canopy it touches: removal, pruning, spraying, cabling — and snow cleared when the flats freeze and the roads go white. Pruning here is close reading. You take only what the tree can spare, and leave it standing better into February. There is a particular satisfaction in the moment the saws go quiet: the yard opens, light drops through in a new shape, and the place looks like someone is minding it.
