About Stephen McDonough Landscaping Inc.

Late August at Broad Meadows the marsh goes gold along its edges and the Town River lies still enough at slack tide to hold the entire sky. Stephen McDonough Landscaping works the neighborhoods just up from there, mowing, edging, trimming and cleaning up yards that sit low, damp and salty for most of the year. Grass in that ground grows in bursts after rain, so the schedule bends to the weather rather than the calendar. There is a good moment at the end of a stop when the mower shuts off and you can hear the gulls again over a lawn that finally looks even. Quincy is a working city with a coastline running through the middle of it, and the yards here deserve to look the part.
