About P & C Stonework & Landscaping

A yard that has been looked after keeps giving something back — a place to sit when the day lets go, a walk that carries you to the door without your having to think about it, a low wall holding the slope and the last of the evening light. P & C Stonework & Landscaping builds that kind of ground in Braintree, where the Monatiquot slips through town and the old South Shore granite lies just under the grass. The work is stone patios, walkways and retaining walls, rock garden designs, fence installation and repair, and landscape design, installation and renovation — set course by course until a patio reads like it was always part of the hill. Stone laid right does not wander: it takes the frost, the wet wind off the Fore River, the long leaf-fall, and comes out the far side of March exactly where you left it. Across Braintree, the South Shore and the greater Boston towns, what's left behind is the plain satisfaction of a property that finally makes sense underfoot.
