About Lawn Barber, Inc.

Boxborough is a town the glacier drew in stone — wooded ridges, old walls running off into the hemlocks, orchard rows leaning up the slow rise of the hills. Lawn Barber, Inc. builds into that ground: patios and outdoor living spaces, walls and walkways, steps and landings, veneers made in their own shop, and design-build work carried through to the property maintenance that keeps a place in order once the last stone is set. There is a real pleasure in a walkway that runs true across uneven land, in a wall that sits like it grew there, in mown lines still holding their pattern when the light goes long and gold behind the pines. Come winter, those same walks and drives are opened back to their edges before the town is properly awake, so the shape of the yard survives the snow instead of disappearing under it.
