About Bowers Landscape Co.

Bourne sits where the Cape Cod Canal cuts the arm loose from the mainland, and the ground here is sand and pitch pine and salt air that gets into everything. Bowers Landscape Co. works that thin soil for all it will give — mowing and edging that leave a clean line against a sandy shoulder, mulch laid down in spring, aeration and slice seeding and fertilization programs coaxing turf up where turf does not come easy. Spring and fall cleanups haul off the oak leaf and pine needle; pruning shapes plant and tree; hardscapes, planting and transplanting, dethatching and gutter cleaning fill out the rest of the calendar. Then a storm comes up the canal, and snow removal opens the drive again before first light reaches the water.
