About David’s Lawn & Landscape Company

On a July evening the light comes flat and gold across West Roxbury, and the mowers run late because nobody wants to stop. David's Lawn & Landscape Company keeps lawns on that western edge of Boston — weekly cuts, crisp edges along walks and drives, trimming around every post and hydrant, mulch refreshed where the beds have gone gray. Out here the lots run a little wider and the grass rewards attention, so stripes actually hold their shape across a full yard. A cleanup at each end of the year hauls off what autumn and winter leave behind. A cut lawn at dusk, smelling like the whole summer at once, is the point.
