Blackstone's Main Street sits a mile north of the Rhode Island line, mill village tight, the river working its dams below. Ted's Lawn and Landscape mows the small front lawns and the big back ones alike, trims what the mower cannot reach, and hauls off what spring and fall leave behind. When February pins the valley down, the plow goes on and the driveways come open one after another — walks shoveled, salt spread on the ice. The good part is passing back by at daylight and seeing the cars already gone. Lawn care and snow work for Blackstone and the towns on either side of the state line.
