About Howard's Landscaping

Below the Rolling Dam the Blackstone runs fast enough that it will not freeze, and on the coldest mornings steam lifts off the water while the town above it sits silent under new snow. Howard's Landscaping is already moving by then, plowing driveways and lots, cutting out walkways and steps, and salting the places where the river damp turns pavement to glass. The valley streets here are narrow and steep in spots, so where the snow gets stacked is a decision, not an afterthought. A driveway opened all the way to the road, corners squared, the mailbox still reachable, that is the finished product. The satisfaction is watching the first car of the morning back out clean and go.
