About Krefta Landscaping

Krefta Landscaping works the loamy ground of Billerica, where the Concord and Shawsheen slide past old canal towpaths and the woods run to oak, birch and white pine. Their trade is landscape design and installation: paver patios and driveways, walkways and steps, retaining and sitting walls, pergolas, arbors and pavilions, fire pits and fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, outdoor lighting, fences and screening, carpentry and decking, irrigation, ponds and waterfalls, pools, spas and pool decks — the kind of work that turns a plain back lot into a room with sky for a ceiling. There is a particular satisfaction in a walkway laid true, stone meeting stone at a hairline joint, the line running clean from curb to door and staying that way after the frost heaves and lets go. Come December, the plowing follows the same driveways they built, read in the dark until the pavers show gray and dry by first light. From Billerica out through Bedford, Burlington, Concord, Carlisle, Lexington, Lincoln, Winchester, Belmont, Arlington, Andover, Lynnfield, Newton, Brookline, Wellesley, Weston and Milton, the ground they finish holds its shape.
