Another Level Landscape & Tree

About Another Level Landscape & Tree

Late September in Billerica, and the work turns with the light — mowers still running their long weekly lines while the cleanup rakes come down off the wall. Another Level Landscape & Tree keeps the ground along the Concord River and the Boston Road corridor: weekly lawn maintenance, spring and fall cleanups, mulch installation, fertilizer and weed control, shrub and bush pruning, gutter cleaning, and tree removal, pruning, cabling and bracing when a limb outgrows its own reach. They build, too — paver and natural stone walks and patios, block and natural stone retaining walls, outdoor kitchens and fireplaces, drainage and irrigation, outdoor lighting, lawn installation and renovation, and new trees and shrubs set to hold a yard's shape for decades. There is a plain satisfaction in the results: a mulch bed drawn to a clean crescent, pine needles cleared from a whole gutter run, a patio sitting dead level under low autumn sun. From Billerica out through the Burlington area and the Massachusetts towns around it, that is what the day leaves behind — a place that looks tended, and holds it.
