About Oceanscapes
August evening at Lynch Park, the rose garden holding the last of the light and the harbor going pewter behind it — Beverly earns its summers. Oceanscapes keeps lawns inside that picture: mowing on a steady weekly turn, edging along walks and seawalls, string trimming, mulched beds, cleanups in spring and again when the leaves come down. Salt wind is hard on grass near the water, so cutting height and trim lines get adjusted street by street. On the yards that face the harbor the stripes run toward it, a small thing that ends up looking like a large one. A lawn ought to feel like part of the view rather than a chore standing in front of it.
