Beverly rides a set of low hills, and anyone who has mowed one knows the grade is the whole job — the turn at the top, the strip along the retaining wall, the shady half that grows slower than the rest. From the high lawns you can catch a slice of water past the rooftops on a clear morning, which is a decent thing to look at while the mower warms up.
