About DECARNEY ROOFING LLC

First light comes in off the harbor at Beverly and lands on a hundred roofs at once — sun-warmed shingle, long ridgelines running down toward Cabot Street and the water beyond. DeCarney Roofing LLC works up there where North Shore weather arrives first, repairing what a hard blow loosened, laying a full replacement course by course until the whole plane reads clean and true, hanging gutters that give the rain somewhere honest to go. When the cold settles over the mill-town streets and the salt marsh stiffens, the work turns to snow removal, taking the white weight off a property so a morning can start on time. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in the end of a day like that: the ground raked clear, the drive open, a house buttoned tight enough to hold its season without asking anything of the people inside.
