About DeRosa Landscaping & Construction

DeRosa Landscaping & Construction works the low, river-bent ground of Berkley, where the Taunton River slides past oak woods and salt-marsh grass on its way to the bay. Their hands shape the outdoor rooms of Bristol County: patios and walkways set stone by stone, retaining and stone walls that hold a slope steady, garden beds planted and mulched, irrigation lines laid, excavation where the land needs rewriting. Week to week it is the plainer pleasures — mowing, aeration and overseeding, the spring and fall cleanups that leave a yard breathing again, commercial grounds and parking lots kept in order. Then December turns the work over, and the same trucks are out plowing lots and clearing walkways while the marsh stiffens white behind them. What stays afterward is the good part: a wall that sits level, a lawn edged clean to the drive, a path swept dark and passable before anyone else is awake.
