About Gilmore Landscape Architecture

Rock Meadow still remembers being farmland — old field edges, stone lines, the long light of a September afternoon lying flat across the grass. Gilmore Landscape Architecture works in that same grain, a landscape architecture business whose lawn care leaves ground looking composed rather than merely cut. Mowing at the right height, trimming tight to fence posts and stone, overseeding thin patches in fall, hauling off the spring and autumn litter so the shape of a yard reads clean again. Belmont was greenhouse and market-garden country once, and the town still rewards anyone who pays attention to soil. The pleasure is standing at the curb afterward and seeing lines that look like somebody meant them.
