A walkway set true across a Belmont dooryard — stones seated, joints tight, the run of it following the slope instead of arguing with it — is the sort of result that earns a second look from everyone who passes. Belmont climbs and settles between its hill and its pond, and the properties here ask for that same attention: beds weeded and mulched in April, hedges and small trees pruned back a careful inch, tired lawns cored, seeded, and coaxed until the green closes over again. Crugnale Associates is a landscape company — design, installation, and maintenance — handling weekly mowing and trimming, spring and fall cleanups, fertilization, new plantings and drainage, walkways and patios across Belmont, Concord, Lexington, Winchester, Arlington, Cambridge, and the communities around them. Come winter, the same driveways get plowed, shoveled, and salted early enough that the morning simply works, and nobody has to give it a thought.
