Scott's Lawn Care

About Scott's Lawn Care

Fog sits on Lake Metacomet most summer mornings until the sun gets over the trees, and Jabish Brook runs low and clear through the middle of it all. Scott's Lawn Care is out in that early cool, mowing yards on the back roads where the land tilts west toward the far blue line of the Holyoke Range. Trimming, edging and cleanups fill the rest of the calendar, from the raw thaw of April to the last leaf sweep in November. Hill lawns are uneven work — slopes, roots, shade under old maples — and getting a clean, level cut out of them takes some care. That is the part they are proud of.
