About Liberty Orchards Landscaping Services

There's a week in Belchertown when the last of the leaf litter comes off the beds and the sanders get looked over the same afternoon — ground still soft, air already thinking about November. Liberty Orchards Landscaping Services works that hinge in the hills east of the Connecticut River valley, where the land tips up toward the Quabbin woods and nearly every yard is a conversation with a slope. They set retaining walls, lay walkways and patios, put in plants and firepits, keep lawns cut, and when the season turns they plow and sand along their route of Belchertown roads. A wall that holds its line through a hard frost, a patio catching the low gold light off the pines, a drive opened before the first car needs it — that is work that stays put. Their Stix Kindling Co. side splits and bundles the kindling that ends up in those firepits.
