DL&G TREE

About DL&G TREE

Belchertown's dooryards run out to old stone walls, and the roads past them bend toward the Quabbin under a high ceiling of oak and white pine. DL&G Tree works up in that canopy — pruning, stump grinding, removals a crane lowers piece by piece so the lawn beneath comes through unmarked, and lot clearing that opens a yard a few more feet toward the light. When a storm rakes the ridge at two in the morning, the call gets answered and the limb comes off the driveway; in winter the snow is cleared, and in the green months the grass is kept cut and the ground kept tidy. They range across Hampshire and Hampden Counties, into the hill roads beyond. The satisfaction is in what's left behind — a clean cut, a swept drive, a place that looks as though the weather never touched it.
