About Cormier Landscaping

Becket sits high on the Berkshire plateau, where Jacob's Ladder climbs through hemlock and sugar maple and every dooryard is an argument settled with the granite these hills left behind. Cormier Landscaping and Excavating takes that ground on its own terms — lawn care through the green months, pruning and tree removal where the canopy leans in too close, excavating and driveway installation to give the land a way in, and retaining walls, decks, and patios that carve a level place to stand out of a slope that never offered one. When winter closes over the hilltowns, the same trucks turn to plowing, opening long uphill drives while the ridgeline is still blue and the light hasn't yet reached the pond. There is a plain, durable satisfaction in the results: a wall that sits true against the frost, a lawn edged clean to the stone, a road home passable before anyone else is awake.
