AMH Yardworks

About AMH Yardworks

High on the central Massachusetts uplands, Barre takes its winters in earnest: the cold slides down off the hills, snow banks up along the edges of the great town common, and morning breaks late and blue over the stone-walled fields. AMH Yardworks meets that weather from both ends of the calendar, plowing driveways clear while the plow-light is still the only light on the road, then, once the frost lets go, mowing lawns down to a clean, even nap along the roads of the Ware River valley. There is a plain pride in a drive scraped to the pavement before anyone is awake to see it, and in a yard kept trim and green through the long, bright weight of a Barre summer. Between the sugar maples and the hayfields and the quiet back roads, the work leaves the place looking tended — the drive you can trust in a storm, the lawn that holds its line all summer long.
