About Horticultural DNA Inc

In late June the marsh grass off Barnstable Harbor goes a green so bright it looks lit from underneath, and Horticultural DNA is out early, ahead of the heat, mowing lawns that run down toward the water. This is sandy-soil country — pitch pine and scrub oak, salt on the wind off Sandy Neck — and it asks a great deal of anyone who wants a lawn to hold its color, which is why the work here reaches from mowing and seasonal lawn care into irrigation install and maintenance, landscape design and planting, masonry and hardscapes, landscape construction, installation and excavation, and steady property maintenance for homes and businesses. A stone wall set true along an Old King's Highway driveway will outlast everyone who stood and watched it go in; a lawn edged clean on a July morning is a smaller, quicker joy, but a real one. Then the year turns, and they are back before daylight with the plows, opening drives and lots so the Cape can get on with its morning.
