Barnstable Town Snow Removal

About Barnstable Town Snow Removal

When a nor'easter comes across Cape Cod Bay, Barnstable hears it first in the marsh grass and then at the windows. Barnstable Town Snow Removal works those nights, running plows along Route 6A and the village lanes that thread off it toward the harbor, where the snow lands wet and heavy and sets up fast. Driveways get opened, walks cleared down to the step, and sand laid where the ground pitches toward the water. By the time the sky goes grey over Sandy Neck, most of the village can get out. That is the whole job, and they take it seriously.
