About Always Green of Cape Cod Inc

Cape light comes off the water thin and salted, and it asks a great deal of a lawn — sandy ground that drinks and forgets, wind carrying the harbor inland over Barnstable's marsh grass and scrub oak. Always Green of Cape Cod answers that with patience rather than force: fertilization timed to the season, turf grass aeration to open earth gone tight, composting and over-seeding that thicken a yard from underneath where no one is watching. Tree and shrub care, disease control and winter moth work keep the canopy along the old roads holding its leaves, while grub, mosquito, flea and tick, poison ivy and vegetation control keep the wild edges where the wild edges belong. The satisfaction is a quiet one — green that stays green on a spit of sand, a yard that looks like it grew there on purpose. That care reaches across Cape Cod and over the canal, through Wareham and Plymouth and the towns north to Marshfield.
