About Rick Munroe Tree Service

A well-kept lot gives something back every day you walk it — light where light was blocked, a clear line of sight to the ridge, a yard that feels like yours again. That is the work here in the pine-and-oak hills above Ashburnham, where old stone walls run off into second-growth woods and the land keeps tilting up toward Watatic. Rick Munroe Tree Service takes trees down whole or piece by piece: crane work for the giants leaning over a roof, cabling for the ones worth keeping, stumps ground out until the ground reads flat, chips and cordwood hauled off as the last of it. When a storm crosses the Greater Gardner hills and leaves a maple across the driveway, the cleanup is what turns a wreck back into an ordinary morning. There is a real satisfaction in the quiet a property holds afterward — sawdust in the air, open sky overhead, the lot shaped the way its owner pictured it.
