T&B Landscape and Irrigation works the ground of Andover, where the Shawsheen slips past brick mill blocks and the oaks of the state forest press in along the town's southern edge. Their year turns with the calendar — spring, summer, and fall landscaping, lawn care and maintenance, mulch laid dark around the beds, leaves drawn curbside in November, sprinkler systems set in and drained again before the first hard freeze. They also build the parts that stay: patios, walkways, retaining walls stacked against a Merrimack Valley slope, fencing, and outdoor lighting that finds the path once the dusk comes early. When ice takes the valley, they are out ahead of the light with snow and ice work, until a driveway is simply a driveway again. There is a plain, physical satisfaction in all of it — the mown stripe, the crisp bed edge, a yard that holds its season and looks like someone meant it.
