About Currivan Green Company, INC Landscape Contractors

Late autumn in Andover doesn't end so much as change hands — the last mowing pass gives way to the plow blade, and the same crew that spent a summer shaping edges is out before the streetlights quit, opening driveways along the Shawsheen. Currivan Green Company works the ground of the Merrimack Valley the way this valley asks to be worked: concrete pavers set true, patios and walls laid against old glacial ledge, drainage and grading cut so the spring runoff has somewhere to go besides the lawn. There is a plain, lasting satisfaction in that kind of work — a walkway still sitting level after its first season of frost heave, a sprinkler zone holding the strip by the road green deep into August, a bed edge crisp enough to read from the street. Between the pine shade north of town and the brick of the mill village, they mow, maintain, plant, and put each season back where it belongs.
