Wagner Wood

About Wagner Wood

North Amherst still carries the shape of a mill village — the Mill River dropping through, Puffer's Pond holding the water back, oak and hemlock crowding right up to the yards. Wagner Wood keeps those yards in order: mowing week to week, string-trimming the shaded edges where the grass grows thin, cutting crisp borders along the walks, mulching beds, and clearing the leaf-fall that a wooded lot produces in absurd quantity. A spring cleanup gets the year going. It's rewarding work in a town this green — you can see exactly what you did, and so can everyone driving past. Lawn care in Amherst and the towns around it.
