About Pioneer Valley Organics Landscaping

The valley floor around Amherst is old lakebed — deep, dark, patient soil that has been growing things since long before anyone thought to put a lawn on it. Pioneer Valley Organics Landscaping works with that ground: mowing on a regular turn, trimming and edging, mulch worked into the beds, spring and fall cleanups cleared away. Out past the Fort River the fields run flat to the treeline, and a lawn cut well takes its cue from them. There's a plain pleasure in a yard that looks like it belongs to the valley rather than fighting it. Lawn care throughout Amherst and the nearby Hampshire County towns.
