About HNF Services LLC

At two in the morning Lake Gardner is a white plate ringed with black trees, and the only sound in Amesbury is a plow blade three streets over. HNF Services LLC works those hours — clearing driveways and parking areas, cutting back the snowbanks that narrow a lot week by week, shoveling walks, and putting down sand and salt where the ice sets up hardest. Winter on the Merrimack is rarely a single event; it is a thaw, a refreeze, a coating of rain laid over the top. Reading which of those is coming decides whether a property is passable at seven or not. The measure of a night's work is an ordinary morning in which nobody had to change their plans.
