ARK CARE MA

About ARK CARE MA

The Connecticut River pays no attention to the state line it crosses between Agawam and Enfield, and neither does a spring morning here — the same thaw softens both banks in the same week. ARK CARE MA works that stretch of valley with mowers built for the job and a whetstone, taking lawns down clean and edging the flower beds until the mulch line reads like a drawn stroke. Dethatching, aeration and tilling come first, then reseeding and fertilization, because a tired lawn wants air at the root before it wants anything else. Trees get health-and-shape pruning; leaves and debris get hauled off in fall; and in the low blue of a January dawn the residential drives get plowed and the ice melter goes down. There is a real satisfaction in handing a yard back sharper than you found it, right down to an oiled, sharpened blade.
