About Adams Trucking Co Inc

Winter settles into Adams early, sliding down the flanks of Mount Greylock and filling the Hoosic Valley until the mill-town rooftops wear it like a second layer of shingles. Adams Trucking Co Inc takes on snow removal here, pushing back the drifts that pile up overnight beneath the tallest mountain in the state. This is heavy-equipment work, the kind a trucking outfit is built for: blades set low, banks stacked high and out of the way, a driveway opened wide enough to turn a car around. There is a stubborn pride in it, too, because Adams has never been a town that waits for spring to get moving. When the storm finally breaks and Greylock glows pink above the valley at sunrise, the way out is open.
